…Hammer Time.

! This is definitely one of those “I wish I had thought of this” moments.
Imagine, you want a pair of Jordan 3’s right so you go and draw/paint an image of the Jordan 3’s. Now imagine somebody buys this painting from you for the exact cost of the Jordans, sends you the money, and then you go out and buy those Jordans! Now imagine applying this concept to any and everything you ever wanted (emphasis on wanted) in your life. Well that’s what the couple who runs wantsforsale.com does.
Each painting shows one thing we want and sells for the price of the real item. So you can buy a “Slice of Pepperoni” for $3.00 or “Dinner at Nobu” for $152.00. When the painting sells we use the money to go out and buy that thing.
INCREDIBLE!
Just peep some of the images below for some of the outrageous things they want that are funded through the sale of these paintings. That’s some serious out of the box thinking for ya. The possibilities are limitless. Read More
& it’s supossed to come out a week before the election this year. Seriously?

Another incredible NIKE commercial.
So it looks like Nike has decided to do a mashup of Kobe’s Hyperdunks and the Nike McFly’s from the back to the future movie. This sneaker mashup fad gets really annoying at times, but i have to admit that these are actually pretty of cool. More pics below.

I haven’t really posted about this yet but the other day my 500GB Western Digital hard drive crashed. Were talking about 350+ GB of music that is now probably completely GONE. Some might ask why don’t I just do data recovery? I answer them with another question: Can I borrow $1,200 plus a brand new 500 GB drive? had this been the hard drive that I back up all of my current design/music work, it might be worth the $1,200. The drive was mostly filled with albums that I had on CD or downloaded for free online somewhere. I also had a bunch of old back ups of design work from college. I came to the realization that even though I am going to miss alot of the stuff on the drive, most of the files have no real cash value, so until I can slowly come up with $1,200 bucks, I’ll live with the loss. Keeping multiple backups is hard lesson learned here. Life goes on.
Anyways, J. Dakar tagged me to do one of the Music Meme things. It would have come out a lot better had I done it with the music I had on the harddrive, but instead I have to settle for my Mac iTunes library. Dah well.
Most of this stuff is little known Hip-Hop / R&B. i forgot I even had alot of this stuff. Most of it is music that I am NOT supposed to have. How do I get it? Wouldn’t you like to know. Ha. THANKS INTERNET!
It’s pretty self explanatory. go through your iTunes, and change the song title sort to A-Z, and type up which songs come up for each letter with out repeating any artists. Its pretty interesting when you go through. Took me about 10 minutes to do it. You people below need to get to doing the same — your officially TAGGED.
In NY there’s no need for me to have car so I don’t really feel the effects of the skyrocketing gas prices directly (Gypsy cab costs have definitely went up). But I feel for everybody thats dreading their next fill up. America’s Gasoline Relief Program is helping to ease the pain a little bit.
AGRP has set up a national commercial program design to offer gasoline prices at $2.49 per gallon…
This program requires your participation in the advertiser promotion of your choice in exchange for the gasoline cards. Each advertised offer covers the difference of the national price of gas to $2.49/Gallon with 15 gallons per offer, a gasoline card is then sent within 7 days of finishing all requirements.
All you have to do is sit through a few advertisements. Seems worth it to me. Find out more here: http://www.radiogasdeal.com/
My homie Pam sent this video to me the other day and all I could do is LMFAO. I’m not a writer, a reporter, or a commentator, but I know the commentator in this video is going about this assesment ALL WRONG, and on so many levels. I really have a lot to say about this vid, but it’s important that you watch the video before reading what I have to say about it. Let me know what you think in the comments.

This is soooo long overdue. Looks like Myspace contracted Adaptive Path to redesign one of, if not THE ugliest popular social networking site on the web. What a feat for these guys. They blogged about some of the project challenges (See: Rethinking Myspace, Myspace & Creative path, The Shelf-life of Social Networks) but in the end, it seems as though the redesign turned out to be one big Facebook BITE. According to Valleywag.com, “When Fox Interactive began interviewing Web designers for the job last fall, they told the candidates the main goal was to match rival Facebook feature-for-feature.” See more screenshots Read More
